The weather in the Minervois wine region is dry, warm and sunny with clear blue skies and a low annual rainfall :

- Spring and Autumn (October - December and April - June) average daytime temperatures are 18-22°C, peaking to 28°C, whilst the Summer (July, August and September) is very warm with average day temperatures around 31-34°C, peaking to 38°C.

- The Winter climate is mild with clear blue skies and daytime temperatures mostly between 7-13 deg, dropping overnight to around zero in late January and Early February, making it ideal for short breaks away from the harsher UK, or Northern European winter weather.

The months of May, June, September and October are particularly popular for out of season breaks due to the continued good weather with bright sunshine, and temperatures upto 28°C.

Whatever you feel like doing...

relaxing on the terrace, splashing around in the pool, strolling throught the breathtaking countryside, visiting Cathar Chateaux, or doing something more sporty like sailing, road racing, mountain biking or mountain walking.

You'll find it all here in the Minervois wine region : nestled between the Montagne Noire and the Pyrénées, close to the Mediterranean.

Warm and dry from mid April to the end of October and hot in the summer, huge blue skies and scents of lavander, rosemary and thyme.
